urbex is very fun and you should try it when you get the chance to! you need to use apple maps' 3D feature to your advantage, or streetview/plain old google maps to scout out areas. train tracks, rivers, forests. all spots you can find something. exploring a city and looking where you usually dont, if you dont have the eye for it, also works wonders. that means trying to see ways onto buildings, seeing if anything is boarded off or any signs of abandonment. me and my friend sometimes just walk into doors that are open and see whats there. same with checking doors that could lead somewhere. always easier said than done, but thats what i can give as advice. i dropped out of school yesterday but i went to an IT school. have been coding on and off for about 8 years now. gonna learn python back end for websites and apply to a job offer my dads' friend gave me. i hope your leg or whatever you likely broke heals quickly!! shit sucks hard.
