Its an understandable anxiety to have. Just know you'll be fine though. You have driving experience, you've driven lots before, I assume. Maybe this is your first biggest road trip yet but even still think of all that driving you've done as a practice for the trip, and trust that your practice will take you through safely!

Its what I do whenever I have anxiety over anything I have to do. Usually before a big exam, I just breathe and remind myself that I've practiced for this.

oh no i'm not the one driving, my dad is
we've already done longer road trips before too
i've always had this fear but it was just on the back of my mind, right now it's to a whole new extent
right now i'm practically convinced the accident is inevitable, it's almost genuine paranoia, maybe it will pass but if it doesn't pass by august i will have to find a way out of the entire vacation

i'm not scared of dying but i'm terrified of having an accident that would change my life, living but not the same
it's not just in driving it's any situation that can cause that
so basically every time i'm outside and even at home sometimes

Ah, I see.
I’m sorry you’re going through that. That sounds really difficult to deal with.
Tbf, that scares me too. I just try really hard not to think about it, but that may not work for everyone.
