/x/ is usually realised as [χ], but allophonically it's also [t͡ʃ], since historically it was /k͡x/, which became [c͡ç] before /i/, and then [t͡ʃ]. The modern /h/ used to be /x/

Ok so a very crude representation would be, /kx/ → /x/ and /x/ → /h/, right? Cool stuff, but I won't lie, took me a second to parce, I'm not that deep in the linguistics rabbit hole yet
