Funny you say that, because I view it as trying to get rid of a long standing misconception that you can "save the planet" by driving electric cars and using paper straws and wtv. These things are important, of course, but like. Energy production and large scale industrial manufacturing (that includes metal & textile, not just plastic) are by far the biggest polluters. Not even the product itself as much as the act of producing (trust me, sending plastic to be recycled is barely more environmentally friendly than just making it again).
