Itβs actually kinda wild. Iβve been obsessed with the idea of what pain is for a long time and Iβve come to realise that it is literally just entropy.
Pain, the feeling has like 4 layers. The first 3 are not really unpleasant. They are, the nociceptive signal (that feeling of pain), a feeling of exhaustion and your pre-frontal cortex focussing on the pain.
The nociceptive signal can be pleasant or painful, so that feeling of pain isnβt really βpainfulβ. The thing that makes it painful is your mindβs response to it, which is the scrambling of your minds, the panic.
Long story shortish, the panic is just your brain being unsure of how to respond. Different parts of you have different opinions, this results in random-like behaviour and is thus like entropy.
