Finally, a worthy debate! I dont think we can know how aliens are or how they reproduce/interact, but they can have their own version of oxytocin/other similar chemicals to produce love, also, the whole "care for their young" its an evolutionary response, we, as a species need to care about our young ones, because we need to survive and make sure the next generation is safe... I just dont relate love with entropy, love, even if it is a cosmic force or it is conected to the creator it wont be the opposite of entropy, entropy is the force that makes matter go into chaos, decay, so it can reform into new and different forms, it is just a transition, it is not evil nor good

I’m not saying that entropy is evil, but I am saying that every good act is an attempt to limit entropy.

Entropy put simply is just decay. It’s also a mathematical certainty. Every time you eat, this is an attempt to reduce your own internal decay. You are replacing parts of you with parts created by the energy of the sun.

Helping feed other people does the same for their entropy. In fact because we are a social creatures, just visiting someone and having a meaningful conversation helps reverse entropy.

Again, all good acts are an attempt to limit entropy. In fact limiting entropy for as many people as possible is what love is.

Love is not just a chemical. Like you said it could probably be any chemical that makes one love another, that’s because it’s not the chemical, but the product. The thing it produces.

Lastly, a question, would you say that parents don’t love their children because we’re programmed to care for them?
