Guys me and my mom perfected this recipe in high school, I'm like in my 20s now and I make this for my partner and it still reminds me of home

Here's the recipe straight from my notes:

1tbsp Sesame oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger or 1tbsp fresh
2tbsp red curry paste
3/4red onion or 2 shallot
4ish garlic cloves
1/4 tsp salt (any)
1/4 tsp white pepper
2ish tablespoons brown sugar or coconut sugar
1tbsp soy sauce/coconut aminos/tamari
2 cups red lentils
2 cans coconut milk
4 cups chicken/veg broth
1 lime juice or 2tbsp

(Optional)
Top with:
Lime juice/zest
Siracha
Red cabbage
Cilantro or ground coriander
Black sesame
