I do not understand people who wouldn't choose immortality. There's so much to experience. Why not get extra time if possible??

something doesnt sit right with me . humans are afraid of death , yet when someone talks about being immortal , they say that they dont want that either and that theyre scared the possibility of never - ending life . i dont understand this . what should i want and what should i fear ? so confusing .

I guess i would choose prolonged life, but complete inability to die, to be doomed to forever being, is something that does terrify me.

I figure living until the heat death of the universe would give you enough time to process that kind of horrifying inevitably. Or give you enough time to figure out if there's any way to kill yourself

Immortality with absolutely no way to kill yourself is horrifying. I think suicide/dying is an essential part of life. I would much rather die than be stuck in an infinite void...

I think I'd still trade that for the chance to live and experience shit loads before the horror but yeah it is horrifying. Then again some people live thinking the afterlife can be endless torture anyway. I'd rather have endless nothing
