Does it work on a bigger scale then ? If we are conscious while we being also made of other conscious little things does this mean our galaxy is conscious too ?

I imagine it's more like a loop. First time when I had this thought "I'm self-aware" was when I was a kid, sitting on the sofa and looking at my hand and thinking "This is me!" It's like the loop had closed and perception was now circling back from external stuff to internal monitoring etc.
