I really enjoy listening to stories about cults and cult families and this one sounds so uncomfortably like my family i wanted to vomit when I listened to it. It's like my father heard about this family and took inspiration from the father. I dont think he did but the similarities are enough to make me feel physically ill. my family wasn't as bad I think. at least to my memory. which is spotty. I dont want to look closer but a part of me wants to read the book that the eldest girl of the family wrote.
