I agree with you.
But at the same time, I still have hope.
We humans always have done and always will do things simply beacuse it's fun.
We share things we like, we curious about.
One way or another this will remain.
Like I've made a classic forum site just because I missed it being a thing.
Didn't wanted to monetize ever, just wanted to be existing.
No one uses it buf don't care.
And this is the thing.
We de thing just because.
Doesn't matter how much our life became commodified, somewhere deep we always have the need to do things just because we want to.
The era of the 'internet for fun' is maybe over, or maybe the old ways are ending and something new will born from it.
