If you believed everything about existence is meaningless and there is no use in trying to find meaning, what would you do? Would you stop caring? Or would you care so much that you would end it? Would anything even matter at that point? Would you be an animal in psyche, just as you already are one in body?

I always thought "meaning" as a concept was so dull and closed-minded, yet I could not, for the life of me, find a way around it to live life without it, not truly at least.

Because our nature as humans stops us from fully confronting this dilemma, whether or not it’s real. But even then, there are people who can break their own nature. Be one of those people for a second and answer this, please.
I would not care. (Will) 20%
I would be an animal. (Nature) 20%
I would end it. (Will) 20%
I would do something els. (?) 40%

Imagine an analog horror story about the life of an anxiety-driven office worker who believes he is the only actual sentient being in the world. It would have this artistic decision where there is only ever one person on camera at a time, you would never see two people in the same frame, ever. You would also get these occasional wide shots of him in the office or walking through the streets, but the camera would only show him from angles where you can see his forverd body and the space behind him, with nobody else visible, despite the constant sounds of people nearby, talking, working, and going about their lives. The main narrative would revolve around whether or not he is actually the only real person in the world, or if he’s simply imagining it. We would also get glimpses of his past life, where he made many bad decisions regarding his family and the people he thought he cared about. The underlying narrative would obviously be dissociation.
