I'll start by apologizing for my aggression and clarifying what certain words mean to me, to avoid misunderstandings. Correct me if you disagree with any of these definitions.

Faith: faith is (for me) the belief in something, despite a lack of evidence. Faith is NOT equivalent to empirical observations, as it is based on secondary "knowledge" (for example scriptures, tales, myths, etc.)

Information: not the easiest thing to truly define, but i'll try to narrow down what it means to me. Information is partial knowledge. Information is like a single page in a book, since you seem to like metaphors so much.

Neuron: a neuron is the smallest functional unit of the brain. This one shouldn't cause any misunderstandings.

What i meant by "sciency-sounding bullshit" is this; it is fairly well defined how the brain works on a microscopic level. Sensation is not part of this micro-level domain. "Virtual photons", which have very little to do with the actual biology behind brain functioning, do not directly cause a sensation of faith.

Neurons do not "create" information, they incorporate it into a neural network. Information in the brain is much more complex than bits and bytes, and a piece of information cannot be located or observed from an outside perspective, simply because it has no location.

I understand if you'd rather not be confronted with the faults of your worldview. If you'd rather stay in the comfort of your delusions, i understand. Just tell me if you want me to stop interacting with your posts.

Information to me is just a representation of another thing with some of the details removed.

A very tactile example of information is a statue. It can have all the features of a person. You can learn how a person appeared from their statue, it has the information of the positions of parts of their face in it, but obviously something is missing about that person.

More abstract is an abacus. It can represent numbers using the positions of beads. The numbers themselves just an abstract form of the physical quantities of other things.

Also, a sound wave represented by little bumps on the bottom of a CD is also information. It can be easily transformed into sound by an apparatus that reads that information and uses it to vibrate a magnet, closely reproducing the original sound.

Firstly, I very much prefer if people challenge me. I very much enjoy surrounding myself with people that disagree with me, than people that agree. Too much agreement is boring.

Secondly, I semi-disagree with your definition of faith. Faith isn't belief despite a lack of evidence. That's actually not possible. Everything has evidence. There's evidence for aliens, there's evidence for big foot, there's evidence for the flat earth. What there isn't for those things is good evidence.

Evidence is sort of a weird word. It can mean literally any indication that something is true. I can create evidence for the idea that Barack Obama is a from the Andromeda galaxy just by saying that I personally witnessed it (I did not).

Typically when people say there is no evidence for something, what they mean is that there isn't good evidence, but people believing bad evidence don't typically think the evidence is bad.

So, faith can't be belief when there is bad or no evidence, it's when the evidence isn't enough.
