here in the good old england we have a recipe, especially for "poor times" when there's nothing to eat in the house. Its called a 'One Pot' You get the biggest pot you can, or a slow cooker if you have one. and put in whatever the fuck you have, all chopped up into bite sized pieces with water, and maybe a tiny bit of flour/ cornflour to thicken depending on the ingredients. Traditionally it used bones and inedible parts in a heshen sack at the bottom and then a bunch of veg and leftover meats.
You cook it at a low temp for around 4-5 hours, or until all of your meats are officially not gonna kill ya, and then serve with home cooked bread.
It got us through famines and the great war 2: electric boogaloo by using up our leftovers.
