Have any of you guys seem the new season of Rick and Morty? I think it’s truly insane how half of the episode are extreme y thoughtful and often philosophical episodes with a high concept and really good writing, and then the other half of episodes are the most meaningless narratives ever created, where stuff just happens with no meaning or purpose. Do watch season 8 though there are some gems

Ok but like, at a certain point the concept of social media becomes too abstracted, I get this whole thing is to get away from the algorithmicised ad-permeated sphere we kinda exist in, but at a certain point it isn’t social any more. At this point we’re just screaming into the void, and I think this is exactly that point, at minimum it’s a good thought experiment for the absolute limits of what a social medium can be.
